Visit KC launches second season of Kansas City Tap Tour

New breweries, exclusive prizes highlight expanded program

KANSAS CITY, Mo.—Following the success and momentum of the Kansas City Tap Tour, Visit KC announces the second season of the popular program, a self-guided brewery experience that rewards participants for sampling area craft beer. The updated KC Tap Tour, which officially debuted Wednesday, Nov. 1, features 19 area breweries, locally designed prizes and exclusive discounts.

The spirit of the tour remains the same—participants 21 years and older are invited to sample beers from the area’s best breweries. The second season of the KC Tap Tour expands into previously untapped regions such as Lee’s Summit and Overland Park— a result of the city’s booming craft beer scene.

Several key changes have been made to the program. In addition to picking up their $7 Guidebook at the Visit KC Visitors Center (1321 Baltimore Ave.), participants can now also purchase Guidebooks at breweries found along the tour. Special deals and discounts are also available at each brewery.

Individuals who collect 10 stamps will receive an exclusive Tap Tour pennant created by Normal Human, while those who earn all 19 stamps will receive an all-new Tap Tour T-shirt designed by Bunker.
