KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The 16th annual Kansas City Restaurant Week, the region’s premier dining event celebrating the hospitality industry, will return Jan. 10-19. Over 230 restaurants are participating in the 2025 event, breaking last year’s record.

“Kansas City Restaurant Week offers residents and visitors a rare chance to experience the culinary and cultural offerings of our city and its unique neighborhoods,” said Brett Oetting, Visit KC’s chief operating officer. “We encourage all to support our local restaurants and give back to the local hospitality industry – a critical component of the Kansas City economy employing nearly 128,000 of our friends, family and neighbors.”

For 10 days, the annual event is an opportunity to support the Kansas City restaurant industry, celebrate the area’s diverse dining scene and also give back to local charity initiatives. Residents and visitors alike can enjoy multicourse menus at exclusive prices, with price tiers remaining at $20, $40 and $55 for diners in 2025.

How It Works

Taking advantage of KC Restaurant Week deals is simple.

As of Jan. 2, over 230 restaurants have signed up to participate in Kansas City Restaurant Week 2025. Find a full list online at kcrestaurantweek.com and filter by a host of options, including location, cuisine, specialty diets, menu type and carryout or delivery availability.

From there, diners can learn more about local eateries, view each restaurant’s KC Restaurant Week menus and pricing, plus make a reservation.

By downloading the free KC Restaurant Week mobile app, diners can also find dining spots on a metro map, add restaurants to their personal KCRW wish list, use exclusive photo filters and more.

Restaurant-goers can also share photos and keep up to date with everything #KCRW2025 by following KC Restaurant Week’s official social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram.

Giving Back

Visit KC partnered with the Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association to create Kansas City Restaurant Week in 2010. In addition to supporting the local dining industry, participating restaurants pledge 10% of menu sales to three charities: the Greater KC Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, the Visit KC Foundation and a featured community beneficiary.

Throughout the 15-year history, Kansas City Restaurant Week diners have raised over $3.8 million for local causes, including organizations like Kanbe’s Markets, Harvesters and the Don Bosco Centers.

For 2025, Visit KC and the Greater KC Restaurant Association are proud to partner with North Kansas City-based House of Hope as the featured charity for Kansas City Restaurant Week.

The local nonprofit launched in 2020 just before the COVID-19 pandemic, quickly seeing a stark rise in food insecurity and an immediate need for resources in the community. Since then, House of Hope has distributed over 2 million meals across Missouri and Kansas.

House of Hope said it plans to use KC Restaurant Week donations to increase the frequency of its monthly Family Friday grocery distribution program and expand its food offerings.

“This incredible opportunity allows us to continue the mission of serving families in our beautiful city and beyond, helping us expand our reach and create lasting change through food distribution, fashion, job creation and affordable housing,” said Liz Turner, president and founder of House of Hope.
