Holiday Magic Shines in Kansas City's First National Tourism Commercial

New Kansas City commercial to air during premiere of Hallmark Channel’s “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story”

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In partnership with the Missouri Division of Tourism, Visit KC will debut its first ever national holiday commercial on the Hallmark Channel during the premiere of the highly anticipated “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story” on Saturday, Nov. 30. The festive spot, created and produced by agency partner MMGY Global, highlights the holiday season in the Heart of America as well as a selection of the city’s most cheerful experiences.

In true Hallmark Christmas movie fashion, the storyline follows a couple as they fall in love during the holiday season in Kansas City. The commercial features local talent as well as several KC venues including Charmed House Interiors, a furniture and home décor shop located in the popular West Bottoms neighborhood; the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, the world-renowned Kansas City museum known for its iconic Shuttlecock statues; The Mercury Room, a luxurious cocktail bar offering breathtaking views of the city; and Crown Center, a bustling shopping complex that features the festive seasonal ice rink seen in the commercial.
