KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Convention & Visitors Association (KCCVA) is pleased to announce the recent addition of Carolyn Anderson as social media manager. A Kansas City native, Carolyn brings to the KCCVA more than nine years of experience in social media, digital strategy and branding.
Prior to joining the KCCVA, Carolyn served as an account manager for emfluence, a full-service digital marketing agency based in downtown Kansas City. There, Carolyn managed interactive marketing efforts and social media strategies for more than 30 clients in retail, financial and healthcare industries.
A graduate of the University of Missouri, Carolyn’s background also includes marketing/communications positions with PlattForm Higher Education; Imaginasium, Inc.; Kuhn & Wittenborn Advertising and MMGY Global. In addition to serving as the current Vice President of Programming for the Kansas City Direct Marketing Association, she is also active with Cultivate KC and the Social Media Club of Kansas City.
