Kansas City Restaurant Week presented by Sysco to return January 13-22

The 14th annual event to feature 10 days of dining specials at nearly 200 KC restaurants; Portion of proceeds to benefit Cornerstones of Care, the 2023 feature beneficiary

KANSAS CITY, MO – Celebrating and supporting the local hospitality industry, Kansas City Restaurant Week presented by Sysco is now less than one month away, returning to the metro Jan. 13-22.

Now in its 14th year, the annual dining event showcases the region’s diverse dining scene through 10 days of special multi-course menus, all affordably prices at $20, $40, and $50. Again, this year, patrons will have the opportunity to dine their way by choosing to dine in, carryout or enjoy local restaurants via delivery options. As of Dec. 13, more than 188 restaurants are signed up to participate in the popular annual tradition.

In addition to casting a spotlight on KC’s culinary scene, 10 percent of proceeds for every Restaurant Week meal sold will benefit three local charities. In 2023, these causes include featured beneficiary the Cornerstones of Care, the Visit KC Foundation, and the Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association (GKCRA) Education Foundation.

Over the course of its first 13 years, more than $3.1 million has been raised by restaurants and diners for important local causes, including significant contributions to groups such as The Don Bosco Centers, Harvesters, BoysGrow, the Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Kansas City and the Guadalupe Centers.

Visit KC partnered with the GKCRA to create Kansas City Restaurant Week in 2010, and it has since become one of the largest events of its kind in the country.
