KANSAS CITY, Mo.— Visit KC, Kansas City’s leading hospitality and tourism organization, is pleased to announce two additions and one internal promotion to its team. Carmen Moses and Jill Davis join the Sales & Services department as national account managers while Kyle Sadewhite has been promoted to the same position. Both Moses and Davis started on June 25 while Sadewhite’s new role took effect July 2.
Moses will represent Visit KC in the key meetings market of Washington, D.C., as well as the Northeast U.S. region. Moses brings extensive experience to the team, as he previously worked for Loews Hotels for a combined 16 years, among other roles in the industry. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, such as the National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners and the Religious Conference Management Association. Moses is a graduate of Harcum College in Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management.
Davis will be responsible for the Midwest-East market, a region that covers both Chicago and Indianapolis. She specializes in the corporate market and has worked in a variety of different high-level roles in the regional hotel industry, including most recently as director of sales for Hampton Inn & Suites Country Club Plaza. Davis is a graduate of the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s in Parks, Recreation and Tourism.
In his new role, Sadewhite will represent the organization in the West market. He was hired by Visit KC in 2015 as a sales account manager, and soon developed a reputation as a dedicated salesperson and committed member of the hospitality community. His industry involvement includes membership in Meeting Professionals International Kansas City, where he served as the association’s director of leadership in 2017 and is currently the vice president of membership. Sadewhite graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Administration/Management.
“From modest, niche conventions to large, citywide events, Kansas City has become one of the most popular convention destinations in the country,” said Vice President of Sales & Services Cori Day. “We’re excited to add even more experience and depth to our team, and highly anticipate the impact that Carmen, Jill and Kyle will make on our organization and our city.”
